Within the Optics and Photonics Department, the Silicon Imaging Laboratory (LIS) develops innovative visible and near-infrared sensors based on CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) technology. These image sensors are found in many everyday objects (cameras, smartphones, computers) and are widely used in industry and medical equipment.

As an Optical Expert for CMOS imagers in our Silicon Imaging Laboratory (LIS), your role will be to :
- Develop integrated micro-optics (metasurfaces, microlenses, filters, waveguides, etc.).
- Contribute to projects focusing on innovations in optics for CMOS cameras and image sensors, i.e. system vision.
- Drive the emergence of high-performance optical concepts and solutions.
You will be required to provide technical support to some colleagues, and may subsequently be called upon to supervise these projects.
Applications: smartphone cameras, AR/VR HMD, space, depth imaging, multispectral imaging, polarization imaging.
Profil du candidat
What do we expect from you?
You have a PhD in optoelectronics, and ideally significant experience in micro-optics and CMOS imaging, with an international dimension would be a plus.
The main technical skills required are: the ability to develop innovative integrated optical and micro-optical systems, to translate a structure into an integration of CMOS technology processes, and to manage complex projects. You'll also be able to use simulation software in your field.
You are recognized for your ability to build and develop a team spirit in order to create a winning dynamic around a common objective. You have the rigor and ability to listen to customers.
