About us :
Within the Optics and Photonics Department, the Silicon Imaging Laboratory (LIS) develops innovative visible and near-infrared sensors based on CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) technology. These image sensors are found in many everyday objects (cameras, smartphones, computers) and are widely used in industry and medical equipment.

Why joining us?
As part of our Silicon Imaging Laboratory (LIS), comprising around twenty people, and as a Senior Expert in CMOS imagers, your role will be to :
- Be a driving force in the emergence of innovative imager concepts
- Participate in drawing up the laboratory's roadmap with our industrial partner
- Help set up projects focusing on innovations in CMOS image sensors.
You will also be called upon to supervise projects, theses collaborators, and even some laboratory staff.
Target applications: 2D and 3D imaging, multispectral imaging, polarization imaging, AR/VR HMD, imaging for space and medical applications.
Applicant Profile
What do we expect from you?
You are an engineer and doctor in optoelectronics or microelectronics with significant experience in CMOS imaging in industry or academia.
An international dimension would be an asset for this position.
Ideally, you have an HRD (Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches) and have already supervised theses collaborators and trainees.
We're looking for a candidate with a thorough understanding of the physics of the detection device: pixel electronics, semiconductor physics, integrated optics. An ability to relate to technological integration processes would be a plus.
You are recognized for your ability to build and develop a team spirit in order to create a winning dynamic around a common objective. What's more, you have the rigor and customer focus required for this position.
