Job description
This RF/mmW Design Engineer position aims to strengthen our team in the development of new technologies and architectures for high frequency power applications. The performance analysis of critical blocks on advanced technologies will be performed to support the development of in-house technologies. As part of a team working on cutting-edge RF Front-End solutions, you will participate in the definition, analysis, design and simulation of innovative devices. You must have experience in modeling, simulation and design of RF/mmW circuits. The following qualities are particularly appreciated: self-motivation, initiative and team spirit.
Responsabilities
· Define the best topology/architecture with respect to technical specifications
· Transistor-level IC design and simulation, EM analysis, layout and design validation.
· Characterize, verify and debug the design through lab measurements.
· Writing of technical documentation, presentations
· Contribution to publications and patents
Applicant Profile
· PhD, Master and/or Engineering degree in electrical engineering with an emphasis in RF/mmW design.
· Circuit design skills and experience performing simulation and analysis of both linear and non-linear RF/mmW circuits
· Familiar with RF design tools (ADS, Cadence) and programming platform (Matlab, Python…)
· Good understanding of semiconductor process such as CMOS, SOI, BiCMOS, GaN, InP.
· Analytical and problem-solving skills, strong sense of responsibility
· Pro-active attitude, good communication, documentation and presentation skills
· Publication in technical journals and conferences
